| 內容簡介 |
劉松年(西元十二世紀末至十三世紀初)，錢塘(今杭州)人。宋淳熙初畫院學生，紹熙年間(1190-1194)為畫院待詔。師張敦禮，工畫人物、山水，神氣精妙，勝於其師。秋日，羊兒悠閒的吃草或嬉戲，大樹下，兩牧童席地而坐，手持竹筒，玩鬥蟋蟀的遊戲。畫家描繪童子弓著身子，張口瞪目的模樣，頗能表達出神情專注的神態。

| Description |
Liu Sung-nien was a native of Ch'ien-t'ang, Chekiang (modern Hangchow). During the Ch'un-his reign (1174-1189) of the Southern Sung Emperor Hsiao-tsung, he was a student in the Painting Academy. During the Shao-his reign period (1190-1194), he was made a Painter-in-Attendance at the court. Skilled at figure painting and landscapes, Liu studied under Chang Tun-li. His skill was such that he surpassed his master in fame. On an autumn day, a lamb grazes unhurriedly. Two shephered boys sit on a mat under a tree. One clutches a bamboo basket. They are playing with a noisy cricket. The painter has depicted the straight bodies, open mouths, and wide eyes of the children, capturing the liveliness of their personalities.
