| 內容簡介 |
白地設色織。兩隻喜鵲棲於梅花枝上，相互凝望，十分親密。幅右方藍色織詩題：「曉風香萼獨開遲。雙鵲娟娟報喜時；最是上林芳信早，分明春在萬年枝。」織款：華陽王曉。織印一：王曉。
此幅設色清雅，技巧穩健。喜鵲的姿態自然寫實，而彎曲的梅幹和梅花的結組富有生意。

| Description |
In this silk tapestry of colored threads against a light background, two magpies are perched on a blossoming plum branch as they look at each other for an intimate scene. The woven poem to the right expresses the wish for everlasting happiness and mentions the magpie as a symbol of happiness and the purity of plum blossoms. The original author and calligrapher is given as Wang Hsiao, whose seal was also woven as part of the tapestry.
The coloring of this work is quite elegant and the weaving is steady. The positions of the magpies are realistic, and the twisting plum branches and clusters of blossoms are done in a lively manner. The open composition also gives this work a sense of directness as well as classicism.
