The brass furnace is an undecorated tripod, mostly for use with the iron kettle with clouds and dragons decor. The brass furnace was generally used in the tea ceremony between May and October. During the winter months, between November and April, the aforementioned Kotenmy? ware iron tea kettle would have been used.
