The dagger handle is made of greyish-green jade with yellowish specks. At the guard end, the jade handle forks into the shape of two rolled acanthus leaves, from which grow a single multipetaled flower. The butt end of the hilt curves into a round pommel, on which another multipetaled lotus flower is carved. The blade has a protruding central ridge.
