| 內容簡介 |
奇石旁邊，兩株不同品種的菊花，爭相綻放著美麗的花朵。兩隻蜜蜂被馥郁的香氣所吸引，盤旋在空中，久久不忍離去。石縫之間，還有四隻麻雀在跳躑與覓食。畫幅下方沉靜的墨彩，與上段妍麗的設色，不僅形成強烈的對比，也憑添了秋日天氣舒爽的感受。
本幅雖然沒有作者的署名，無法確知出自何人所繪，但畫中形象準確，而且下筆快捷，確實稱得上是寫意花鳥畫的佳作。

| Description |
Behind a large garden rock grow two varieties of chrysanthemums with their blossoms vying for beauty. Two bees appear to have been attracted by the fragrance of the blossoms as they hover in the air, apparently not wishing to leave the scene.
Among and below the rocks are four sparrows hunting for food. The heavy and dark ink in the lower part of the painting contrast markedly with the light and elegant colors above, imparting the comfortable feeling of a light autumn day.
Although this work bears neither seal nor signature of the artist, the sureness of the forms and the maturity ofthe brushwork indicate it to be a masterpiece of bird-and-flower painting in the sketching-ideas manner.
