| 內容簡介 |
道教中男仙女仙眾多，有﹝列仙傳﹞、﹝女仙錄﹞記其事蹟。
本幅繪女仙高髻素衣，趺坐蒲團，手拈筆毫，膝前置貝多葉，似欲書經傳道。旁有筠籃繫鋤上，中貯芝草。一獅一虎伏侍在側，狀甚溫馴，蓋表現女仙道高，足以降服猛獸。

| Description |
In Taoism, there are numerous immortals whose biographies were recorded in such books as Lieh-hsien chuan (Collected Biographies of Taoist Immortals) and Nu-hsien lu (Records on Taoist Female Immortals).
In this painting, a female immortal, seated on a rush mat and holding a brush in the hand, seems to be ready to write some Taoist scripture text on palm leaves placed in front of her. Behind her, a bamboo basket filled with fungi and flowers is fastened to a hoe. A lion and a tiger gently lie beside her; which reveals that her attainment is powerful enough to tame those wild animals.
