| 內容簡介 | 虎馬相鬪，虎欲撲，而馬則舉後腿以待敵。畫馬及背景，與明宣宗馬上像頗有近似處，可能亦為明人院畫。 |
| Description | A fierce tiger is about to pounce on an angry horse in this unusal painting. Stylistically, the method of rendering the horse and background is very close to another painting in the museum’s collection, “The Emperor Hsuan-tsung of the Ming Dynasty on Horseback”. Since the latter painting was done in the Ming Painting Academy, we may deduce that our present painting must have also come out of the some academy. |
