| 內容簡介 |
金廷標（活動於西元一七六０–一七六七年），字士揆，烏程（浙江吳興）人。善人物，兼工山水、花卉。清高宗南巡，進白描「羅漢冊」，稱旨，召入內廷供奉。
本幅繪修竹沿溪，紅葉掩映，逸士六人，遊憩其間。中有三者坐於石上划拳助興，其他三者或袒衣濯足，或撫竹而立，或背手觀泉。石旁二童則持壺睨視，以手指醉狀。金廷標擅繪古代聖賢名士故事，此幅筆墨流暢，敷色雅麗，反映出其典型的繪畫特色。

| Description |
Chin T’ing-piao (style name Shih-k’uei) was a native of Wu-ch’eng (modern Wu-hsing, Chekiang). He excelled at painting figures and also represented landscapes and flowers. Chin presented an “Album of Lohans” painted in fine outline manner to the Ch’ien-lung Emperor (r. 1736-1795) on his southern inspection tour. Appreciating his accomplishment, the emperor summoned him to serve as a painter at court.
Under slender bamboo by a stream as well as a canopy of red leaves, a group of six scholars are seen here in leisurely refinement. Three are in the center sitting by a stone table playing a drinking game, while the other three are each shown leaning, walking, and cooling off by the stream. Next to the earthen form in the foreground are two child-attendants preparing drinks as they call out. Chin T’ing-piao specialized in painting the sages and scholars of antiquity. In this painting, his brushwork is fluid and coloring elegant, making this typical of his style.
