| 內容簡介 |
一群行旅或騎驢或牽騾、駱駝，在險峻的太行山徑趕路，饒有北國風情。路旁枯樹，山石上的白雪都令人想起冬日的嚴寒。縮頸彎腰及以袖口掩鼻的人物，更以生動的表情形容出隆冬的淒苦。 本幅的山石構景雄奇，用筆勁利。前者承繼北宋范寬一派的遺緒；後者則有南宋馬夏的影響。

| Description |
A group of travellers, some riding and others leading camels and mules, makes its way along a precipitous path on Mount T'ai-hang, amid severely cold and rugged winter conditions. The road makes its way through withered trees, and with the heavy snow, a frozen white on the mountain crags, invokes the bitter cold of winter. As they shrink back from the penetrating chil1, covering their faces and huddling deeper into their coats, the sojourners' plight cannot fail to move the viewer. The mountains and rocky ravines have been portrayed with refined brushwork in a tasteful manner. The painter inherited compositional elements from the Northern Sung school of Fan K'uan, and also characteristics of brushwork from the later Ma-Hsia school of the Southern Sung.
