| 內容簡介 |
金廷標字士揆，烏程（今浙江湖州）人。工寫真，並能妙繪人物士女及花卉。善取影，白描尤工。亦能界畫。清高宗二十五年（西元一七六○年）南巡時，金廷標進白描羅漢冊，稱旨。命入內廷供奉。
本幅名「萱花壽石」，畫奇石二落，低高相應。雛菊與萱花環繞競放。四周綴以亂筆雜草，增添畫面生意。

| Description |
Chin T’ing-piao was a native of Wu-ch’eng, Chekiang. He excelled as a figure painter but was also skilled in bird-and-flower and architectural painting. In 1760, when Emperor Ch’ien-lung made his southern tour, Chin T’ing-piao presented an album of lohans painted in the plain, ink-outline mode. The emperor was pleased and established Chin as a painter in his court.
Two rocks rise above chrysanthemums and day-lilies. Grass is loosely described on all sides and adds a sense of liveliness to the painting.
