| 內容簡介 | 迂迴而來的流水，清翠的草原上，脫了牧童控制的母牛，一派自由，盡情的吃著青草，小牛在旁，仰起頭來，也歡愉地張口大呼。這張畫選自明人仿宋元諸家山水冊，畫家著重於樹石流水煙雲，畫牛雖是點景，但意趣能與畫中風景，一片春綠相互輝映。 |
| Description | On a verdant field by a winding stream a cow wanders unencumbered by the cowherd's tether. Completely free, she munches contentedly on the green grass. A small ox is by her side, raising his head and letting out a joyful bellow. This painting is taken from an album of landscapes by a Ming painter imitating the styles of Sung and Yuan masters. The painter concentrated his efforts on the trees, rocks, flowing stream and mist and clouds; though the oxen are relegated to a position of secondary importance in the painting, their interest blends with the landscape and augments the feeling of a green, spring scene. |
