| 內容簡介 |
佟毓秀，字鍾山，襄平（今遼陽）人，漢軍正藍旗人。官至甘肅巡撫。山水率筆縱橫排 ，與藍瑛相似。老年又以枯澀見長，卒年八十餘。
本幅畫，春郊放牧，山色青翠中，溪邊垂柳，兩牧童正悠遊其間。筆意疏放，為當時文人畫之特色。

| Description |
Tong Yu-hsiu, tzu (style name) Chung-shan, was a native of Hsiang-p’ing (modern Liao-yang). As an official, his highest rank was the governor of Kansu province. His landscapes are composed of broad, moist and free brushstrokes, which resembles Lan-yin’s works. His late works are, however, noted for the quality of dry and sparse brushstrokes. He died at the age of 80.
In spring, the mountains are freshly verdant and the willows gently sway along the river. Two herdboys are merrily strolling in this pastoral scenery. The brushstrokes in this painting, though executed sparsely, are forceful and spontaneous, which was the characteristics of the contemporary literati painting.
