| 內容簡介 |
此幅紙有六橫折，蓋用摺紙所畫，一時遣興之作。題詩詠弔倪瓚，畫亦仿倪，與策杖圖相較，皴山之筆稍肥，略近成化丙申（一四七六）所作山水。樹法亦不同倪瓚，略似贈劉珏之「米不米，黃不黃」山水小軸。款書學蘇，與吳寬頗近。畫無年款，亦不能歸定於一時，疑作於成化丁亥（一四六七）至丙申（一四七六）間，沈周四十歲至五十歲。

| Description |
The paper of this painting has six horizontal creases. Folded paper was usually used for calligraphy but not often for painting, and Shen Chou probably picked it up at random when in the mood to paint. The poem which he inscribed on the painting refers to Ni Tsan, and the execution follows Ni’s style. It is related to Shen’s “Staff Bearing Wanderer”, but the texture strokes in the mountains are thicker and recall the landscape painted for Wu Shih-chu in 1476. The treatment of the trees is also different from the Ni Tsan manner and is closer to the “Landscape Painted when Drunk” for Liu Chueh. The calligraphy in the inscription is in the style of Su Tung-p’o and resembles the hand of Shen’s friend Wu K’uan. The painting is not dated and cannot be assigned to a definite year, but it must have been done between 1467 and 1476.
