| 內容簡介 | 莫是龍（西元？－一五八七年），江蘇華亭人。因得米芾石刻雲卿二字，因以為字，後更字廷韓，號秋水，又號後明。八歲讀書，目下數行，十歲屬文，有聖童之稱。工詩文古辭，擅長書畫，以貢生終。小楷精工，行、草豪逸。 本幅為泥金紙本，用筆遒勁流麗，結體端秀雅逸。選自「明人便面冊」第十幅。 |
| Description | Mo Shih-lung, a native of Hua-t’ing (modern Shanghai), was considered a child prodigy for his advanced studies at the age of 8 and his ability to compose verse at 10. A Tribute Student, he excelled at poetry, belle-lettres, and research as well as painting and calligraphy. His small standard script was especially refined and his running and cursive scripts were grand and untrammeled. This work was done on gold paper. The brush-work is strong and beautifully flowing as the characters have an upright and elegant quality. This is the 10th leaf from Album of Folded Fans by Ming Calligraphers. |
