| 內容簡介 |
吳偉(西元一四五九─一五○八年)，江夏（今湖北武昌）人。字士英，別號小僊。曾受賜畫狀元印，是繼戴進之後浙派最重要的畫家。
本幅為林宗毅、林誠道先生捐贈，描繪一高士獨坐於水邊平台上，右方山石朝左側出，怒松由岩隙間猙獰而生，畫面充滿了緊張與不穩定感。如此的構圖與縱恣的筆調雖然與吳偉有關，但更接近張路、蔣嵩的風格，故應視為與張路同時或之後吳偉派的作品。

| Description |
Wu Wei (style name Shiying, sobriquet Xiaoxian) was a native of Jiangxia (modern Wuchang, Hubei). Once presented with a seal from the emperor for “First in Painting,” he was the most important Zhe School artist after Dai Jin. This work, donated by Messrs. Lin Tsung-yi and Lin Ch’eng-tao, depicts a lofty scholar sitting alone on an outcropping before a stretch of water. The mountain on the right extends to the left to create an overhang as twisting pines bend up from the cloud and stand out, filling the work with a sense of tension and instability. The arrangement and unrestrained brushwork relate to Wu Wei, but the style is actually closer to Zhang Lu (ca. 1490-ca. 1563) and Jiang Song, perhaps by an artist after Wu Wei but contemporary to Zhang.
