內容簡介 黃慎,生於康熙二十六(一六八七)年,乾隆三十三(一七六八)年,八十二歲尚在。字恭懋,號癭瓢,祖籍福建,長居揚州。自幼家窮,苦讀成功,擅長詩、書、畫,時有「三絕」的美稱。事母至孝,聞名鄉里。其畫以仙佛人物最著名,花卉、山水其次。由於在畫法上,不因襲前人舊路,而開創筆墨新趣,為揚州八怪之一。 此幅畫牡丹,筆墨縱姿靈秀,款書與畫互為映發,並臻佳妙。    本幅選自黃慎「花卉冊」,此冊為林宗毅先生捐贈。
Description Huang’s brushwork is ethereal; the calligraphy of the signature equally so. This work was donated by Mr. Lin Tsung-yi. Huang Shen, one of the “Eight Eccentrics of Yang-chou,” was most famous for his paintings of Taoist and Buddhist subjects and of human figures, but he was also known for his landscapes and renditions of flowers and plants. His painting style was not imitative; his brushwork, innovative. Originally from Fukien, Huang actually spent most of his life in Yang-chou. Although from a poor family, his diligence led him to excel at poetry, painting, and calligraphy, for which he was called man of “Three Excellences.” He was famous for his filiality toward his mother. Although the exact date of his death is not known, he is known to have lived at least to the age of eighty-two.

網頁展示說明 Huang Shen (style name Gongmao; sobriquet Yingpiao) originally hailed from Fujian but resided in Yangzhou for many years, making a living by painting. From a poor family since youth, he studied hard and succeeded, excelling at poetry, calligraphy, and painting, called the "Three Perfections." He was most famous for his paintings of immortals and Buddhist figures, then flower and landscape subjects. His painting methods in no way followed in the footsteps of previous masters, as he strived to create a new form of expression in brush and ink. He was thus known as one of the "Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou." This work, from "Album of Flowers" donated to the National Palace Museum by Mr. Lin Tsung-yi, depicts a peony blossom in a very expressive "sketching ideas" manner that is almost like wild cursive script, appearing as if rendered in just a few seconds. The bold and vigorous as well as unbridled manner of brush and ink still reveals the light and elegant form of this "King of the Flowers." To the left is a truncated seven-character verse, the painting and calligraphy complementing each other in a lofty and beautiful manner. (20110102)
網頁展示說明 黃慎(1687-1768以降)、字は恭懋、號は癭瓢、祖籍(祖先の原籍)は福建、揚州に長く暮らし、絵畫を生業とした。貧しい家庭に生まれ育ち、苦学の末に成功した。詩、書、畫のいずれにもに優れ、「三絕」と讚えられた。仙人や仏教の人物畫で最もよく知られ、それに次いで花卉、山水畫が知られている。畫法に關しては、前人の古いやり方を踏襲することなく新たな畫風の創造を求め続け、「揚州八怪」の一人に數えられた。 本作は『花卉冊』に収錄されている。畫中の牡丹は狂草の大写意に近く、短時間で描き上げたのがわかる。自由奔放で大膽な筆遣いではあるが、「花の王」と言われる牡丹の軽やかさ、秀でた美しさなど、その特徵は失われていない。左側に畫家自らが書した七言絕句一首がある。書畫が互いに引き立てあい、実に見事である。林宗毅氏寄贈。 (20110102)
