| 內容簡介 | 黃道周（西元一五八五－一六四六年），福建漳州人。字幼玄、螭若，號石齋。天啟二年（一六二二）進士，選庶吉士，授編修，歷官禮部尚書。學貫古今，尤以文章風節高天下。書畫奇古，真、草、隸自成一家。 此幀為「明人便面書扇冊」第十九幅，行楷書七言律詩一首。本幅筆法由鍾繇變化而來，但略帶隸意，方勁峭厲，別具一格。 |
| Description | Huang Tao-chou (style names Yu-hsuan and Ch’ih-juo, sobriquet Shih-chai) was a native of Chang-chou, Fukien. He received his chin-shih civil service degree in 1622 and was chosen as a Hanlin Bachelor. After serving as Compiler, he went on to become Minister of Rites. Studying the styles of recent and ancient masters, his achievement in writing was particularly renowned. His painting and calligraphy was known for their archaic qualities, anad his regular, cursive, and clerical scripts were all distinctive. This is the nineteenth leaf from “Album of Fans by Ming Calligraphers” and is composed of a poem in seven characters done in semi-regular script. The style of the calligraphy is derived from the tradition of Chung Yu (151-230), to which has been added elements of clerical script. The rectilinear qualities impart a sense of sharpness, making for a unique style. |
