| 內容簡介 |
繪河邊庭院景物，界畫開敞之涼亭水榭，屋旁庭中長松挺立，棕櫚、芭蕉葉茂，青綠玲瓏石點綴環繞亭間。此亭軒有牆、窗門，其中多扇屏窗全打開，以散鬱熱、引涼風。
亭中士人盤腿坐於小榻上，膝上置琴，床屜似竹編成，上設書、花盆、香爐之屬。此圖強調獨坐、高臥的休閒生活，四周幽靜涼適。長松繪法較似明代文派影響後的形式，前方欄杆畫法獨特雅致。

| Description |
The pavilion in this painting has walls and open spaces, which are interrupted by a multi-panel screen. The few pillars creates space to dispel the heat and cool off the building. The scenery is that of a riverside garden. The water kiosk depicted in the chieh-hua ("boundary") ruled line manner stands next to a tall pine tree and is shaded by palm and banana leaves, surrounding and punctuating the scene with greenery.
A scholar is seen seated cross-legged on a tatami mat with a zither resting on his lap. The top of the platform appears to be woven from bamboo slats and placed upon it are books, flower pots, and an incense burner. Everything in the painting emphasizes the pursuit of the leisurely life by a scholar surrounded by peace, quiet, and coolness. The appearance of the tall pine follows in the tradition of literati painting, while the railing in front is done in a style all its own.
