庭院一隅，榭臺架築於荷塘上，兩旁柳葉成蔭。有女士主僕三人，臉繪以三白法，著單衣，分持紈扇圓墩閒坐，一仕女另持一竿，蓮塘垂釣。全圖屋界、衣飾線描勻整，沒骨葉荷繪製秀潤。本幅雖為扁面小景，然暑熱正熾，柳絲依依，風荷亭舉的夏日風情，卻一表無遺。
本幅選自「紈扇畫冊」第五幅。

| Description |
In the corner of a garden, a pavilion extends by the bank of a lotus pond with both sides shaded by willow leaves. The faces of the two ladies and one servant have been rendered with white makeup. Wearing robes, holding fans, and sitting leisurely on round stools, one of the ladies is fishing in the lotus pond. The lines for the architecture and clothing are all skillfully rendered, while the lotus leaves have been done in wash for a sense of luxurious elegance. Despite the small size of this fan, nothing is missing to suggest the sense of the searing summer heat being cooled by the shady willow leaves and the lotus pond being swept by a soft breeze.
