| 內容簡介 | 朱色大壽字，綴以玉蘭、牡丹、梅、蘭、桃、玫瑰、紫籐、繡球、水仙、海棠、靈芝諸卉。刻織勻密，絲光猶新。各花枝葉刻就，再以筆設色添染鈎勒細節，而用色淡雅，允屬佳製。 |
| Description | Silk tapestry of character “Shou” (Longevity) in red on white ground. Inside the brush strokes are woven Chinese magnolia, peony, plum flower, orchid, peach blossom, rose, wistaria, hydrangea, narcissus, begonia and fungus. The weave in this panel is tight and even and the lustre of the threads has been preserved like new. Only the forms of the flower petals, branches and leaves have been woven while the brush has been used to fill in the various details, thus combining the two techniques. With pleasantly restrained color, the work is a real masterpiece. |
