| 內容簡介 | 陸游（西元一一二五－一二一０年），為南宋名詩人，浙江紹興人，兼工書法。陸游也是深諳品茶的行家。此信以行書寫成，內容為答謝回贈友人新茶三十胯、子魚五十尾。宋人形容團茶的數詞，圓形稱「餅」，其他造型則稱為「胯」，如方形－方胯、花形－花胯。而陸游能一次送人三十胯茶，可見應該不是進奉宮中的貢茶，而是民間所用。「新茶三十胯」也顯示陸游之好茶。 |

| Description | Lu You, a native of Shanyin in Yuezhou (Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province), was a famous poet of the Southern Song gifted at calligraphy as well. He was also an astute connoisseur of tea. The contents of this letter written in running script express gratitude to a friend with an accompanying gift of 30 “broad cakes” of spring tea as well as 50 fish. In the Song dynasty, tea compressed into a rounded shape was counted as a “disc cake.” Other forms were called “broad cakes” and still others included the square broad cake and floral broad cake. That Lu You sent 30 broad cakes of tea indicates they were not “tribute tea” (which was meant for the court), but the tea used among common folk.
