| 內容簡介 |
此作近景作小坡樹石，右置小橋，左佈人家；中遠景左方峰巒平頂疊加相連，右方則雲煙飄渺，僅露出局部山頭、崖壁。畫中物像鉤定輪廓後，多以規整臥筆點葉、點苔，略顯平板。
〈鐵崖圖〉常出現於明清著錄中，是黃公望為好友楊維禎所作的名畫。「鐵崖」是楊維禎的字號，亦是年輕時讀書樓所在山名。展出此作僅有唐棣題跋，且字跡與黃公望題款如出一手，應係明末清初有所根據的臨仿本。

| Description |
The foreground of this painting consists of a slope with a small bridge at the right and scattered homes. The left part of the middle- and background shows ridges and layered peaks connected together; the right part is enveloped in clouds and mists, from which only part of the peaks and cliffs protrude. After the forms in the painting had been outlined, they were mostly filled with repetitive horizontal strokes for the leaves and moss dots, creating a slightly static effect.
A painting by this title frequently appears in the painting catalogues of the Ming and Qing dynasties; Huang Gongwang did the work for his close friend Yang Weizhen. “Iron Precipice” was Yang’s alternate name, because he had a studio at Mt. Iron Precipice during his youth. In the work on display here, the calligraphy of the inscription by Tang Di and the signature by Huang Gongwang appear to come from the same hand, suggesting a copy from the late Ming to early Qing period based on an earlier source.
