| 內容簡介 |
是卷中二圉人帶領駿馬八匹。人物一動一靜，馬匹仰首、低迴各具姿態，彼此面貌相類。通幅用筆細勁，輪廓線多以淡墨先鉤出，再加濃墨之筆提之。雖有趙雍名款，卻與其古雅之趣迥然不類。
舊傳趙雍之作。趙雍（西元一二八九年生，卒年不詳），字仲穆，趙孟頫之子。書畫出自家傳，善山水，尤精人馬及竹石。

| Description |
In this handscroll, two stable grooms are leading eight horses. One person is shown in repose and the other moving, whereas the individual horses are shown in a variety of poses and actions. The entire scroll has been rendered with fine brushwork. The artist first outlined most of the forms in light ink and then filled them with dark ink. Although this work has an inscription in Chao Yung's name, it lacks the archaic tendency found in his other works.
Chao Yung (style name Chung-mu), to whom this work is traditionally attributed, was the son of Chao Meng-fu (1254-1322) and followed in the family painting tradition. Chao Yung excelled at landscapes and was gifted at rendering horses, figures, and bamboo and rocks.
